	Gold nuggets you see are alluvial gold dredging ones. They get out of water and fall in the sluice like this.The ones found in the land have to be cleaned &polished because full of laterite and sometimes black iron.

The pictures quality is not extraordinary good because of the humidity & heat. This has been taken on kokioko river 300km north west far from cayenne. In the back ground you can see garimperos (brazilian gold diggers) working with water & gravels 6" pumps.
